Description
The Velotric Nomad 2 is a powerful fat-tire electric bike built for commuting, off-road adventures, and all-terrain riding. Its 750W hub motor delivers 90Nm of torque, while the 26″ x 4″ Kenda puncture-resistant fat tires provide stability and traction across a variety of surfaces.
The Nomad 2 uses a removable 48V 14.7Ah (705.6Wh) battery with Samsung/LG 21700 cells. The manufacturer rates the bike for up to 65 miles of pedal-assist range and up to 45 miles using throttle assist.
A 100mm RST hydraulic suspension fork with lockout helps absorb bumps and rough terrain. The bike also features Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm front and 180mm rear rotors for controlled stopping.
The Nomad 2 includes an 8-speed Shimano drivetrain, suspension seatpost, full-coverage front and rear fenders, and a MIK HD-compatible rear rack with a 66 lb rack capacity. The bike has a 505 lb maximum payload.
Technology includes Velotric SensorSwap™, allowing riders to switch between torque and cadence sensing, along with a 3.5″ full-color Bluetooth display, USB-C charging, app connectivity, OTA updates, and Apple Find My integration.
The Nomad 2 supports riders from approximately 5’2″ to 6’5″, depending on the frame size. Regular accommodates approximately 5’2″–5’11”, while Large accommodates approximately 5’10″–6’5″.
